One of the things I say a lot is "I have so much to learn!" About everything!
Each of the web sites shown below are resources I use, a lot. More will be added in the future.
Been thinking you might like to do a website, not sure where to begin?
The first thing to do is get a domain name and a website. Use your own name if you can't think of a good one right now. You will see a link to GoDaddy, start there.
I've used them for 9 or 10 years now, mostly to register my domains, but they do offer everything you need to start at a really good price.
You might also consider using the web host I use,
AACME Ecomplanet Web Host. In 12 years they have been up 99.99% of the time and of course you can get a free website to play with to start. You can also register a domain name with them. They offer 2 kinds of editors and a nice selection of templates. I use the basic html editor with a template.
You will also see the companies I use for search engine submission so you can be found on the web. GoDaddy has a service you can use or you can also google search engine submission and find web sites with articles and/or forums on how to submit your site. You will find several links below to start with that are free.
When you have your site up, you can join affiliate programs, also for free. Affiliates are people who place ads on their web sites or blogs and get paid when people click through on a link and make a purchase. Your pages become a bill board for companies in their eternal quest for customers.
You will also find several links to place ads for any products you may want to sell, free to begin with, upgrades offered when you're ready.
For now, I'm not going to use categories. When I move them to their own page, then I'll do categories.
