I'm Lita White, Webmaster and Owner of SmokersTees.Com. You are not going to find any pictures of me anywhere. Sorry about that, I'm a grandmother in her 60's so I will pass if you don't mind. For much the same reason I prefer not to list my home address or home phone number.
I've maintained a PO Box for over 20 years, and have had an unlisted phone for over 30 years. I think it's safe to say I'm somewhat of a private person.
I've smoked for over 40 years.
SmokersTees grew out of an idea I had approximately 15 years ago, when they started kicking us out of buildings. I suspect I was like most people in my age group. We have watched as this has evolved from something that should probably pass at any time, like the other dingy "Projects" fueled by handfuls of self-serving experts and the hysterical media, into a full fledged hate campaign.
I doubt that any of us could have visualized 30 years ago that we would become the victims of a hate campaign being financed and sanctioned by city, county, state and federal governments along with the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, and the American Heart Association, for our own good of course and the "sake of the children". Little did we realize that a couple of greedy lawyers saw an opportunity.
It has been a learning experience, completely negative. I find I can no longer trust the majority of health providers. I don't know about you but I prefer advice based on facts and my physical profile, not possibilities based on a study that involved 50 people.
SmokersTees is currently a part time project, due to go full time in 2006. Until that time I work with online vendors who produce and ship all our products.
Each of the companies I work with are well established brick and mortar companies who allow individuals like myself to establish a product line without any cash outlay involved. In order to do that they decide which products will be made available in their associates stores. Pocket tees will arrive at some point in the future.
I appreciate the opportunity they have provided me.
